Coverage

A statutory duty, and the cover to match it.

Martyn's Law is largely about preparedness, planning, training, documentation and evidence. Traditional products address parts of that, but few were written for the obligations the Act creates. Our proposition is built as six modules that can be arranged around a venue, an event, or a named individual.

Module content is indicative and subject to insurer appetite, underwriting and policy terms. Nothing here is an offer of cover or a statement of what any policy will pay.

Module 01

Responsible Person Protection

Built around the named Responsible Person or Senior Responsible Person who carries personal ownership of the risk strategy.

Employers' Liability extension

  • Temporary staff
  • Casual workers
  • Volunteers

Product Structure

Four packaged levels.

Rather than assembling cover line by line, most organisations start from one of four packages and adjust. Limits and pricing are set case by case with the underwriter — we do not publish indicative figures.

The Uninsured Gap

What conventional policies tend to leave out.

Existing liability programmes rarely respond to the specific consequences of a Martyn's Law compliance failure. These are the exposures we most often find unaddressed on review.

Regulatory investigation costs
SIA defence costs
Representation at interviews under caution
Loss of income following suspension
Crisis communications and reputation management
Contractor compliance verification
Event readiness management — evidencing the named person's duties
